Mobile Unit Breastfeeding Specialists

Tashery is our Designated Breastfeeding Expert and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. With three years of personal experience breastfeeding her son, she is deeply passionate about helping mothers navigate early feeding milestones and supporting those crucial first latches. Having joined WIC five months ago, her experiences living in 15 states and Japan give her a unique perspective, enabling her to connect with and support diverse communities of mothers.

Desire, our Peer Counselor, is a dedicated cheerleader for mothers. As a mother of three, she breastfed both of her children. A WIC client since 2012, Desire joined our team in May 2024, motivated by her passion for promoting breastfeeding, especially among young mothers.
